VDA Licensed AdBlue®

AdBlue® is a highly purified colourless ultra-pure liquid additive solution of urea (32.5%) in de-mineralised water. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, and biodegradable. It is used as a fuel for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems in order reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions produced from most commercial vehicles. AdBlue is injected into the catalyst of the SCR system, where it triggers a chemical reaction with the ammonia. This chemical reaction converts the toxic nitrogen oxides (NOx) into nitrogen (N2) and water vapour (H2O). Water vapour and nitrogen are naturally occurring gases that are harmless to the environment, a 1000 Litre IBC cube weighs 1090kg.

Autonoe AdBlue® supplied in 1000 litre IBC’s are ideal for the larger user, typically using AdBlue® in high volume, commercial vehicles or plant. AdBlue® is supplied in full accordance with ISO22241 with the IBC cap sealed and tagged to ensure that the product has not been tampered with.

Autonoe AdBlue® IBCs have both a top outlet and a bottom outlet, allowing you to dispense the product in a way to best suit your operation. The top outlet features a CDS system which will fit to the connector on most AdBlue® pumps, whilst the bottom outlet allows a gravity dispensing kit to be used.
